Shipping & Returns


Calculated Shipping– If the item page appears with a shipping calculator, you can enter your country and postal code to determine your final shipping cost. There is no need to contact us for a firm shipping quote, as we will honor the stated amount in the shipping calculator.

Combined Shipping - We normally charge reduced shipping for 2 or more items packed in the same box. We only give combined shipping on sales that occur within an 48 hour period. We do not normally give combined shipping on large individually packed items.

Common Carrier Shipping - Items that are large in size or weigh over 150 pounds are shipped by dry van or flat bed trucks. You must have a loading dock or forklift to unload your items. Freight companies charge extra for lift gates, residential delivery, and construction sites. Our standard quotes do not include the above extra services unless specified. Please provide us with your current telephone and email so that we may easily communicate with you about your shipment requirements.

Customs Fees and Tariffs - The buyer is responsible for paying all customs fee and tariffs. We will provide you with a commercial invoice for your customs agent. We cannot reduce the invoice price amount of the listed items so that you will pay less customs fees.

Damages and Loss - Please contact us immediately if your item(s) arrive damaged or are lost by the shipper. Please retain all packing materials and send us picture of the damaged carton and item(s). We will immedialtely make  a claim for loss or damage with the shipper. If we have more of these items in stock we will notify you and ship you another one to replace the lost or damaged one(s).

Expedited Shipping - We offer FEDEX Express and USPS expedited shipping. For same day expedited shipping, orders and payment must be received by 1 PM PST. Please phone us at 707-745-1777 to confirm that your expedited order will be shipped out on a timely basis.

Free Shipping - Unless explicitly advertised on the item page we do not give Free Shipping. Be aware that Free Shipping is within the 48 contiguous U.S. states (excludes AK, GU, HI, PR).and by economy ground methods.

Fixed Shipping Estimate - If an item is advertised with a stated amount for shipping be aware that this amount is only an estimate. The final cost is based on dimensional weight, destination, date of shipment, and type of shipping service. If you are concerned about the final shipping cost, please contact us for a firm shipping quote before you commit to buy.

Ground Shipping - We ship Fedex Ground & Home as well as USPS.

Handling Fees - Handling fees which may include boxing, palletizing, crating, and rigging, if requested by the buyer, will be included in any shipping quote.

Insurance Liability - Common carriers provide $.10/pound for insurance on used items. If you wish additional insurance coverage please contact us. FEDEX and USPS provide full coverage insurance.

International Shipping - We ship to all countries by sea and air (North America by truck). We can provide crating, containers, and special packing at additional costs. The buyer is always responsible for all import/export duties, taxes, completion of documents, and brokerage fees. We will provide a Commercial Invoice for you to provide your customs agent.

Item Tracking - We will attempt to ship your item within 1-3 days after payment has been received (except personal checks). You will receive an email to the shipper's link with a tracking number and estimated delivery date. If you have questions about your shipment please us at email:

Shipping Companies - We reserve the right to use the shipping company of our choice, depending on the most cost effective method and shipper.

Shipping Address - It is important that you always provide us with your correct shipping address. If an item is shipped to the address you have provided and it is your error, you will be responsible for paying an additional re-shipping fee.

Use of Buyers Shipper - If you wish to use your own shipping carrier please be advised that we charge a minimum $25 administration fee in addition to any handling, boxing, crating, rigging or palletizing fees. You are responsible for providing us with completed shipping and customs documents. We will not fill out your Bill of Ladings, or FEDEX, DHL, or UPS waybills on your behalf.

Warehouse Pickups - We normally do not provide for warehouse pickups. 



Error on Our Part Item Not as Described - We have a 30 day refund policy from the date that you receive delivery from the shipper. We will refund the cost of your item if there is any error on our part or the item is defective. We will pay return shipping if there is an error on our part. We do not want you to incur any out of pocket or shipping costs if we are in error. Please contact us first for an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) before returning your item for credit or replacement. 

Normal Return Requests - If you wish to return your item(s) due to no errors on our part, your purchase will also be subject to restocking charges of 20%, or $10 whichever is greater if we are not in error. There will also be deductions for Free Shipping allowances. You must email us requesting an RGA reference number, instructions, and permission to return the item(s). Shipping fees are normally not refundable. All new items must be returned in their original packaging without being installed or showing signs of use. 

Warranties -  Many of our electrical, automation, distribution, and motor items come with a "90 day warranty".

Item Damaged in Shipping - If your item is received damaged by the shipper we will make a claim for reimbursement on your behalf from the shipper. It is important that you retain all packaging materials and take pictures of the damaged item and its packaging. If we have another item of the same type we will promptly ship you a replacement.
